About

Dimitri Jeltsema (DJ) received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from the Rotterdam School of Engineering, The Netherlands, and the M.Sc. degree in systems and control engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom in 1996 and 2000, respectively. In May 2005 he received the Ph.D. degree with honors (cum laude) from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. Until 2007 he has been a post doctoral researcher and lecturer at the Delft Center for Systems and Control and Twente University. From 2007 until 2016 he was an assistant professor within the Department of Mathematical Physics, section Mathematical Systems Theory, of the Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics. After an inspiring sabbatical, with research visits in Paris and Hangzhou and extensive touring with US-based ska band The Toasters and his co-founded band RSJF, DJ started in August 2017 as a senior researcher and lecturer within the Balanced Energy Systems group at HAN University of Applied Science in Arnhem.
